In order to strengthen international technology exchange and cooperation, together improve and advance welding skills, accelerate the cultivation of welding skill talents, 2016 (4th) Beijing “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition will be held from June 17th to 22nd. Each participation group is actively carrying out the qualification trials to select good competitors, strive to achieve excellent results in this international competition including China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited. More than 20 competitors of this company had conducted fierce competition for two days in Zhuzhou, Hunan province. After the qualification trials, 6 competitors will be selected to attend 2016 (4th) Beijing “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition.



China Huaneng Group will also carry out qualification trials on March 30th in Shanghai Electric Power Overhaul Company.





China National Offshore Oil Corporation (“CNOOC”), FAW Group, the Seventh Construction Company of CNPC, CRRC, Shanghai Shipbuilding, Xi’an Aeronautical University, etc., will carry out qualification trials in April, and they show the “craftsman’s spirit” of the nation with their practical action.

In the late February of 2016, SASAC of the State Council had issued “Notice for holding 2016 (4th) Beijing ‘Arc Cup’ International Welding Competition” to inform each unit to organize participation team and quickly sign up. The concurrent events include 2016 (2nd) International Conference on FABTECH & Skills (June 19th to 21st, www.arciwc.com), and 2016 Asian MANUTECH & SKILLS Demonstration Show (June 20th to 22nd, www.manutechskill.com).

□ Dating from 2008, “Arc Cup” series international welding competitions and exchange activities have become the important event and exchange activity of international welding world.



□Until now, 28 Countries have planned to attend, including America, Germany, Korea, Singapore, the Republic of Belarus, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Indonesia, Ukraine, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Serbia, the Philippines, Malaysia, India, Thailand, UK, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Austria, Portugal, etc.

□Dozens of central enterprises and groups as well as vocational colleges from China will attend the competition. The participating teams represent Chinese industry strength, while the competitors represent
the highest skill level of Chinese industry.

The competition sets up group award, individual award, young competitor award, student competitor award, special award, excellence award. Winners of central enterprises have the opportunity to gain
the title of “technical expert of central enterprises”, “young job expert of central enterprises”.
