"Gold Cup LINDE” international welding competition started to held in 1997 and has successfully held 20 sessions. The competition is supported by Ministry of Education of Czech Republic, organized by the Secondary Vocational School in Frýdek-Místek. It’s a influential competition in the international welding industry.This “Gold Cup LINDE” international welding competition attracted 156 competitors from host Country Czech Republic, Germany, Ukraine, Slovakia, China, etc. These competitors under 20 years old contend for four items, including SMAW(111), GMAW(135), GTAW(141), OFW(311).The authorized ANB Czech Welding Joint Association was responsible for the technical supervision of the competition.

Only 18 years old Zhong Jielang won gold medal when competing with 56 competitors on MAG (135). Although another young competitor Mao Yu didn’t won the first prize on SMAW(111), he has courage and strength to participate. We are sure he will have more excellent performance in future.

Two young competitors only experienced several months operation training and more than one month intensified training. They overcame language obstacle, difference between welding equipment and standard as well as jet lag. Relying on strong psychological quality and technical level, they finally achieved excellent performance.

During the competition, Dr. Liu Zhenying who is the Chinese group leader, the secretary of “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition Organization Committee, the organizer and advocator of “Arc Cup” International Welding Exchange Activities, introduced “One Belt One Road” cooperative concept and proposal to people from different Countries and sincerely invited their competitors to attend 2016 (4th) Beijing “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition.

The excellent performance of this competition is inseparable from emphasis of participating units on high talents cultivation and organization of Beijing ARC Xinxing Science & Technology Co., Ltd. Guangxi Hezhou Vocational School devotes to cultivate the outstanding skill of sutudents and attaches great importance to “Gold Cup LINDE” international welding competition. Mr. Shiguo, the dean not only led the team in person, but also arranged teacher Wei Xianwen who has practical and teaching experience to be the coach of the two competitors. Teacher Wei is the excellent graduate of Guangxi Hezhou Vocational School. He once attended 2010 “Arc Cup” International Welding Competition and won the third prize with international welder certificate. As the Chinese referee, teacher Wei fairly and impartially executed competition regulations together with referees from other Countries to ensure the competition going smoothly.
